It’s a question Dr. Weiss is asked all the time. Prior to starting his practice, he worked in hospitals for years as a neonatologist, but he ultimately felt something was missing. He wanted to be able to provide care that wasn’t constrained by a broader system, allowed him to form lifelong connections with his patients, and make access easy for families. He realized that all of this could be achieved by learning from the past and delivering care in a more personalized way, and the potential to make a difference made it easy for him to strike out on his own.
